Hands-on Workshop
Friday, 27 March 2026, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM AEDT | Hands-on Workshop
What is Introduction to Microsoft Copilot?
This workshop is your reset: a calm, practical way to try what Copilot can and cannot do, see where it genuinely helps in your work, and learn how to use it so people actually change how they work.
Move from “we have Copilot” to “we are getting measurable value”, with working prompts, templates, advanced features and safe‑use patterns you can roll out across your team.

Who Should Attend
This is for you if:
You have access to Microsoft Copilot, but you are not sure that you are making the most of it in your everyday workflows.
You want clear, practical examples of how others use Copilot in their day.
You prefer a hands‑on session where you can try things, ask questions and get feedback, rather than watch a feature tour.
You want prompts, templates and simple patterns you can take back to your work straight away.
You have a team who wants to learn together and apply Copilot in shared workflows (contact us for multi-seat pricing).
What you will leave with
-
A clear picture of what Copilot can realistically do today across the different Copilot apps, including which ones work well and which are better to avoid for now.
-
A set of tested prompts and templates for common tasks so you are not starting from a blank page.
-
Practical guidelines on risk, privacy and verification, so you know how to use Copilot safely and answer questions from your leaders.
-
A curated pack of prompts, use cases and simple agent ideas collected from the whole group, so you can see what is working for others and borrow what fits your role.
-
Confidence in your knowledge of the more advanced capabilities people often miss, so you can get deeper value from Copilot instead of just surface‑level answers.
This is not a generic Copilot feature tour. It is a hands‑on session focused on how people actually work in Microsoft 365. You will see real examples, try prompts and patterns during the workshop, and learn in a group where you can share ideas, see how others are using Copilot, and leave with practical resources you can take straight back to your team.
Why this matters now?
Many organisations switched Copilot on in 2025, but many staff are still using it for one‑off experiments, not as part of their real workflow.
Copilot licences are a real investment, so leaders need to see that people are using it in day‑to‑day work, not just “having a play”.
Copilot can speed up drafting, research, analysis and follow‑up, but it also has limits and risks around data access, accuracy and over‑reliance if you do not know how to use it properly. When we understand the risks, we can confidently manage them.
What we will cover in 4 hours
-
Where Copilot lives, what it can see and do.
Common myths and mistakes that hold teams back.
Simple checks so you are not over‑relying on AI output.
-
Email, meetings and documents: practical examples end‑to‑end.
Turning messy notes and threads into clear next steps.
Using Copilot to speed up, not skip, critical thinking.
-
Prompt structures your team can reuse across roles.
Templates for recurring tasks (reports, updates, summaries).
Intro to simple agent‑style patterns using Copilot and connectors.
-
What to check in your settings, access and data.
How to talk about limits and risks without scaring people off.
A 30–90 day rollout plan you can adapt to your organisation.
-
Bring your questions, examples and “can we do this?” ideas.
